S’s dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.

J, 23 years old, was diagnosed with stomach cancer with metastasis to her ovaries. Pray for:
Systemic chemo to be effective to grant full recovery. Safety as she begins immunotherapy and chemotherapy soon.
A miracle to take place with complete healing.

A had a successful liver transplant on 16 Apr. Protection and mercy as his body adjusts to recovery and to heal. He has been discharged home. Pray for:

LW has Stage 4 Ovarian cancer with spread to liver, stomach lining and large intestines. Pray for:

2. Tan Chew Suan – Serving with Singapore Youth for Christ
Thanksgiving for:
For seeing the Girls’ Brigade (GB) team through the drills competition.
The opportunity to share the significance of Good Friday and Easter in the Boys’ Brigade/GB devotions. May the gospel seed sown, bear fruit in God’s good timing.
That the Project Servant is picking up well the skills to study the bible. Pray that she will also learn well how to teach an evangelistic bible study material.
Prayer Needs:
God's wisdom and insight in her various teaching assignments. The learners will grow in their knowledge of God’s word and in their obedience to follow Him.
3. Asholi and Puii Akamu – Serving in Thailand
Prayer Needs:
Thankful for their first training for L believers in April. Pray for those who attended would continue to grow in the Lord.
For Mr K from L, who is in Chiangrai to study the Word; pray for safe travel as he visits his family during the school break.
Three old folks in a village were baptised recently; may the Lord bless them as they continue to live for Him.

Prayer Needs:
Sustainable rhythm and pace of work.
God’s protection over their parents’ health and especially for her father to soften his heart, repent and turn back to Christ.
5. Joel Choong – Serving with Singapore Youth for Christ
Prayer Needs:
Thankful the students joining the RISO workshops have been noting the Christian difference time and time again. It would be a blessing to be able to bless the creative students with a positive internship programme.
For more volunteers and staff to join the team. With more people, they would be able to run more programmes that could reach even more creative youth.
6. Mark Suredhran – Serving with Cru Singapore
Prayer Needs:
Mark’s continued good health and that he will be able to manage work and health needs well.
For strength and stamina and energy management.
His continued walk with the Lord and protection from the evil one.
7. Stella and Phil Carter – Serving with Cru Asia
Thanksgiving:
His favour and protection for her spouse, Phil’s three-week training in Chiang Mai, ACTI 58th Batch; also for smooth process and excellent recovery of Phil’s successful teeth implant.
Prayer Needs:
God’s protection and good health for Phil’s 75-year-old brother who is living alone
For Stella’s 91-year old mother's salvation. Pray for her short-term memory which seemed to be worse. That her mum will always recognise her helper and the helper will take care of her well. Pray she will recover soon from a very bad cough and excessive phlegm with the prescribed antibiotics.
8. Amos Ang – Serving with Cru Asia
Prayer Needs:
Wisdom and strength to carry out his roles and responsibilities locally.
Discernment for staff care and development for other teams he oversees.
For His covering over his sons: Josiah, who is finishing Officer Cadet School senior / professional term, and after this for God’s favour to get him a place in NTU; also for Nathan’s journey as he starts his work life.
9. Karen Hor – Serving with Cru Asia
Prayer Needs:
Her son, Josiah has completed his 5-month training as a Combat Engineer. Thank God for sustaining him throughout and he has one more month before he is fully commissioned as an Officer in June. Pray for his posting to a unit and also his University application (results should be out in May).
For her parents who were both hospitalised recently. Her father’s memory seems to be faltering a lot suddenly and her mom is at heightened risk of stroke. They reside with her sister and family who are feeling the weight of caring for them more this season.
10. Joyce Ho – Serving with Cru Asia
Prayer Needs:
Good health and strength.
For good closure of her time in Cru.
God’s leading, wisdom and clarity in the next phase of her life.
11. Susan Lee – Serving with Cru Asia
Prayer Needs:
Phase 1 of TCJ (The Creative Journey) has wrapped up well and Phase 2 has started.
For the TCJ mentees to continue to experience God and fruitful learning in their respective mission trips and local internship projects.
Creative Team’s strength, physically, mentally and most importantly spiritually, as they juggle different job responsibilities.

13. Jason Huang (TTC)
Prayer Needs:
God’s wisdom to manage time between studies and family well.
Strength and inspiration to complete all upcoming assignment papers well as the semester approaches its end.

14. Angeline Lee (SBC)
Thanksgiving:
For His faithfulness in carrying her through another semester. His strength, provision and grace throughout this journey.
Prayer Needs:
To be attentive to what God wants her to learn in her internship and for His guidance and wisdom in every step.
For the upcoming mission trip – that their team would be united in heart and purpose, good health, protection and fruitful ministry while in the field; for peace and safety for their families at home.

15. Jonathan & Phoebe Kong – Serving with OMF
Thanksgiving for:
For the regular number of children who attend the English and Bible lessons every weekend. Many children experience brokenness as they are abandoned by their mothers in Takhro. May God open a way for Jon & Phoebe to minister into their brokenness and for them to see God’s all-encompassing love.
For local believers who are now more committed to attending church. There are now some believers who feel they may be ready for further discipleship in preparation for baptism. Pray for Aunty Dtaan, Mrs Nok, Milk, Tonkao and Plakad as we approach them to see if they would like to be baptised and to find a suitable location for baptism in Takhro.
Prayer Needs:
To establish a rhythm of ministry and rest in the village of Takhro.
Uncle Deng, who came regularly in the past, has stopped attending church. May
God lead him back to the spiritual community, that he may find work in Takhro and that he will stop drinking and taking drugs.
Uncle Danom passed on in March. May God comfort his family and give an opportunity for Jon & Phoebe to witness to them. Pray for his two sons, one with a mental condition and just released from prison and another still in prison, that they will find peace in God and for God to provide for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
For Aunty Ling, a new believer who accepted Christ during a prayer walk, to draw close to Christ and join church services. She has been diagnosed with cancer and going for a blood test to verify whether she can receive medication. Pray for positive results.
For the health and well-being of their family members in Singapore, particularly Phoebe’s father that he would get stronger with subsequent hospital visit. Pray also for their own health and strength to minister in Takhro.
16. Shan – Serving in CAN
Prayer Needs:
Wisdom and favour from parents and for all required resources to be provided for the start of Secondary classes. Confirmation of curriculum and provision of all teaching staff. For favour with local authorities and smooth process of getting the approval to start the secondary school.
Wisdom and strategy for the SMS development committee to look into the future plan of SMS, especially with the space constraints at the current premises.
For the seeds of love and care that were sown to bear fruits in the hearts of the village communities.
Shalom peace and good health for Shan and her family.
To remain in Him and be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.
17. Stanley and Lucy Ong
Thanksgiving:
The way the Lord has been adding to the number of people attending the local church and for 3-year-old Koko's successful.
Prayer Needs:
Koko to be in remission from her leukemia.
Lucy to be healed of her shoulder and neck pain.
The salvation of the families who attend the church’s monthly kids’ club.
Stanley, as he works on his sermon, that he will listen to what the Lord has to say to him.
18. More Wesley's Missionaries to be raised and sent out into the field
Luke 10:2 The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Prayer Needs:
God's spirit to stir up the hearts of Wesleyans to be missional and obedient to the Great Commission.
More Wesleyans will hear His clarion call to be missionaries in the harvest fields overseas.
Wisdom, grace, and clarity as they discern their calling and choose to bring the gospel to the least-reached people groups or hard places.
That God will grant them the assurance of peace to remove their fears, anxieties and concerns for their loved ones as He equips them for the field.
Boldness and courage to take the next step to prepare well for the ministry which they are called in the harvest fields.

19. Functional English Centre (FEC)
The Lord’s protection and guidance upon FEC staff, students and their families.
20. Pathway Fellowship in Siem Reap
Pray for the Lord to continue growing the ministry and strengthening those who have opened their hearts and minds to Him; pray for the Pathway team as they follow up with people who have responded to the Lord.
Thank God for a growing children’s ministry in the churches and preaching points. Pray for support for the ministry team as they seek to serve in this area.
For good follow-up and spiritual growth of the children who came to know Christ during village outreach.
Wisdom and strength for the teachers at Mustard Seed School (MSS).
God’s guidance and provision as MSS and the church that worships there need to relocate to a new place.

21. Wesley Phnom Penh Hostel (WPPH)
For former hostel students who have gone on to university to do well in their higher education. Praise the Lord for some who continued engaging the church community; pray for more to do so.
The Lord’s empowerment upon the house parents and their work at WPPH.
For the Lord to guide the curriculum preparation and recruitment of new teachers for the English Corner Programme.
Pray for God's empowerment upon the pastors to sow seeds and for more students to open their hearts to receive Jesus into their lives. May the youths who have received Him grow deeper in their faith and relationship with God.

Thanksgiving:
Students who joined the English teaching ministry progressed well in learning the language.
Closer relationship with the students and teachers and opportunity to share God’s love and godly values.
Women who joined the sewing ministry have gradually improved their sewing skills.
Recent trips have encouraged the pastors, leaders and teachers.
Prayer Needs:
Sustaining strength and wisdom for teachers to plan lessons and engage students effectively.
Students to learn effectively, diligent in their students, and nurtured in godly values and develop godly character.

Thank God for new believers in Pinagpala Christian Community Church’s outreach points; for more pre-believing families to be reached and more church members to serve as the ministry expands.
For a safe and suitable venue for Promised Land Christian Church’s new outreach point at a location that floods often; for God’s provision for various ministry needs of the church
Thank God for regular attendance of youth and adult members at Jesus The Mediator Church; pray for spiritual healing and good family relationships for church members and a job opening for AB.
26. High Praise Church (HPC)
For HPC’s weekly Zoom theology course to equip its pastors and leaders; for trainees to cope with both day jobs and night classes.

For friendships built at Nongsan to be strengthened and for the people there to come to know Christ personally.

Thanksgiving:
Recent trips have been fruitful in reaching out to youth, women, children and teachers.
Some youth and children responded to God’s love during prayer time in LK and during youth camp.
Prayer Needs:
Youth who have responded to be nurtured in their faith and love for God.
The children at the outreach centre at LK to know God deeper.
Outreach at KP and MS villages to bear fruit for God; more children to join the activities.
The Lord’s provision for a full-time worker at LK and a more convenient location to run the programme there.
