Pray Without Ceasing

“O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me.”

NEW

  1. HH is experiencing a spiritual, lethargic entrapment. God to free HH as she battles to walk free with Jesus’ help.

UPDATES

  1. R had thrombophlebitis following a cyst removal surgery. Thanking God R is recovering well and there is no more pain. Pray for family relationships to continue to heal and husband A’s health to be protected.

  2. CL who had her kidney stents reinserted. To remain intact and be free from complications and to rest well for speedy recovery.

  3. JT has been having frequent migraines. Protect her and guide her to find the cause and get it treated.

  4. AC’s thyroid levels to remain in the normal range. Thanksgiving for a clear brain MRI. Pray for:

    • A surrendered life to God in health, career and relationship with God.

    • AC’s faith to arise and to reject despondency.

    • Headaches to be gone in Jesus name.

  5. HT is undergoing chemo treatment for uterine cancer. Experiencing weakness in her lower limbs. Pray for:

    • Faith, immunity and strength to increase.

    • HT to regain strength in her legs as she recovers with rest and nursing care.

  6. LK had surgery for pancreatic cancer. Pray for an effective chemo cocktail treatment.

    • Chemo port to be successfully inserted and LK to be able to cope with the drugs given.

    • Strength for the family to support him on this journey.

  7. CG’s oncologist to have new and latest options for treatment of peritoneal cancer. CG is a mother of two young school children. Pray for a miracle. Strengthened immunity as she was recently admitted for a bacterial infection.

  8. S’s dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.

    • To open his heart to Jesus and receive Christ as his Lord and Savior.

    • Peace and trust to allow God to journey with him through his treatment.

    • Thanksgiving. S’s father has completed his radiation treatment and is comfortable.

  9. CL to call on Jesus in his time of need. Holy Spirit to touch him to have full physical, emotional and spiritual recovery. Pray for healing of family relationships and blessings on his caregiver, his wife.

  10. JY, 23 years old, was diagnosed with stomach cancer with metastasis to her ovaries. Started chemo treatment. Pray for:

    • J’s body to respond positively to the chemotherapy prescribed.

    • Systemic chemo to be effective to grant full recovery. Safety as she begins chemo and immunotherapy.

    • The Lord to protect, comfort, heal and envelop J and the family with peace.

    • JY to have a heart of surrender and to trust in God.

  11. S, 25 years old, has lymphoma and is receiving chemo treatment. To trust God and to walk in faith. Pray for:

    • Strengthened body and give her good appetite to care for herself and her two young children.

    • Suitable bone marrow donor to be matched to start the marrow transplant.

    • God’s protective covering to handle difficult family demands well and respectfully.

  12. Z who had a brain bleed had 3D Clinorplasty Skull Implant done on 22 May. Thanksgiving surgery went well. Pray for:

    • The Lord to re-awaken Z’s brain cells with excellent healing of her memory and faculties.

    • Caregivers to be continually strengthened to love and care for her.

    • Protection for husband ML as he travels for work overseas.

    • Boldness to step forward to receive God's healing for their lives.

    • Gospel to reach out to unreached people group and countries through our livestream worship services.

    Pray for all staff:

    • Faithfulness of staff team working together for God’s glory.

    • Surrender hearts and trust in God’s faithfulness.

    • Unity of staff team for all ministries.

    • Staff to continue to rely on the Holy Spirit through challenging situations.

    • Love for one another, unity and submission to Christ and one another out of reverence.

    • Good health and well-being as they seek to balance work, family and personal time.

    • Salvation of family members who are pre-believers. Reconciliation and restoration of family ties.

    • Staff will experience God’s power and faithfulness through their service.

    • Godly partnership between lay leaders, staff and volunteers.

  4. Small Group Ministry (SGM)
    Thanksgiving for:

    • God’s faithfulness for the last 40 years of SGM.

    • The Zone Leaders, Small Groups and all who have served tirelessly and with such willing hearts in SGM.

    Pray for:

    • The SGM40 Thanksgiving luncheon, that it will be God-honouring and everyone will encounter Him.

    • The luncheon panellists Rev Dr Isaac Lim, Rev Gladwin, Sonny Chuah and Roger Chan.

    • The team preparing for the SGM40 luncheon and SG Weekend for protection and safety.

    • Pray for good transitions as there will be many changes in the leadership team.

    • God to bring the right people into the ministry who desires to serve Him and His people well.

    • God to continue to watch over and sustain all our SGs for the next many years.

  5. Outreach Conference (OC) | Sat, 27 Sep | 9.30am to 5pm
    Pray for:
    Registration:

    • Praise God for 200 signups.

    • OC video publicity and OC booth at atrium over the next weekends to create interest with many worshippers signing up. Trusting God for 900 to attend the Conference.

    Program:

    • God’s anointing and wisdom as keynote speaker Pastor Benny Ho, and Workshop speakers: Dr Lai Junxu, Mr Foo Yu Da, Ms Ling Zi, Mr John Knox and Dr Adrian Tan prepare for their session content.

    • God’s inspiration for volunteer panelists of the morning and afternoon panel discussions, as they prepare their sharing on how they become missional in their service for the Lord.

    Conference Preparation:

    • Thanksgiving for 55 staff and volunteers who responded to help out. God to raise more to serve at the Conference as ushers, registration helpers, F&B distribution helpers, booth helpers, photographers, and logistics support.

    • External agencies and internal ministries will have creative booth design and setup.

    • 14 booths to collectively reflect the Conference theme and create awareness of how each agency/ministry is fulfilling the Great Commission and reaching people for Christ.

      Unity, teamwork, God’s empowerment for the Conference planning team.

    Conference attendees:

    • Participants to be encouraged and inspired to live as God’s missional disciples with a mindset shift that outreach begins with compassion, not programs.

    • Those called, to respond to God when He speaks. Commitment to take the next step to serve God through outreach opportunities in Wesley ministries: Witness & Evangelism, Missions, Crisis Relief Wesley and Christian Outreach & Social Concerns.
