  4. Youth Ministry (YM)

    Sharing/update:

    • Wesley Youth Ministry reaches out to 15yos - 23yos. Over the past year we have gone through restructuring in our ministry - change of PIC for YM, changes in leadership for our YM exco, and restructuring our subministries too. We are thankful that God remains good and faithful to us even during this season of transition and we pray that God will continue to use this ministry to disciple the generations to come.

    • The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few; every year the leadership in our youth ministry feels the weight of this verse in Matthew 9:37 whenever we call for people to step up to serve and disciple youths as a YSGL (youth small group leader).

    • We hope and pray that God will send forth labourers who desire to see youths transformed for Christ here in YM.

    • This year, as we focus on Discipleship in the Workplace, we have also been challenging our youths to be salt & light in their schools, army camps, and universities.

    Pray for:
    Leadership

    • Pray for our Exco as they continue to lead YM - that they may do so with spiritual wisdom and discernment.

    • YSGLs - we pray for God will raise up more people who have the desire to fulfill the great commission through discipling youths in YM.

    Youths

    • Youths approaching a season of transition as they decide where to study / what to do after they graduate.

    • Small groups to be a safe space for our youths to carry each other's burdens.

    • Pray that the word of God will be the foundation of which our faith is built upon.

    • For youths to have an expanded heart that will love their neighbours, the least, the last and the lost.
