1. Leow Theng Huat – Serving with Trinity Theological College

Prayer Needs:
    • That God would help Theng Huat fulfil his responsibilities at TTC well, including his new role as the Associate Field Education Director.

    • May God grant Theng Huat the strength and wisdom to complete his intended writing projects for the next six months.

    • God to bless Theng Huat's parents and parents-in-law with good health, safety, joy and peace.

    • God to bless Theng Huat’s children with good health, good friends and a close walk with God.

2. Tan Chew Suan – Serving with Singapore Youth for Christ

Thanksgiving:
    • Opportunity to share the Christmas Story at various student care centres. Pray for children who are interested to find out more, and may their parents allow them to be followed up.
Prayer Needs:
    • For many opportunities to share the Christmas Story at Celebrate Christmas In Singapore and that the seed sown will bear fruit in God's good timing.

    • For her missions trip to a Creative Access Nation in January 2026, for God's protection and His purposes to be accomplished.

3. Asholi and Puii Akamu – Serving in Thailand

Prayer Needs:
    • A Bible study will be conducted for families who were displaced. Pray for the teachers and participants.

    • For provision of a larger hall for their meetings which at the same time, will be used as storage for tea leaves. 

    • The couple will be on Home Assignment (till mid-January 2026); pray for good reconnection with their churches and relatives and safe travels. 

    • Smooth running of things by Joe and David (Akha Radio and Media team) while the couple are away.

4. Joel Choong – Serving with Singapore Youth for Christ

Prayer Needs:
    • For the coming "Celebrate Christmas In Singapore" (CCIS) period, that their team will be able to handle the duties over the weekends including the nights. May many come to hear the Christmas story.

    • The preparation for a year end market they are participating in. Pray they will also be able to make good contacts leading into 2026.

    • For the coming internship period, Project Serve, as the Joel will be assisting to organise some of the camp activities.

5. Mark Suredhran – Serving with Cru Singapore

Thanksgiving:
  • For grace and strength for Mark as he ended his teaching for the first semester at EAST.

Prayer Needs:
    • For Mark to prepare well for the upcoming teachings for next semester starting in January 2026.

    • Protection from the evil one and for a close walk with the Lord.

    • That the joy of the Lord will be his strength daily.

6. Stella and Phil Carter – Serving with Cru Asia

Thanksgiving:
    • His protection and favour for Phil’s 75-year-old brother, who was able to settle a financial issue when he gave up his Philippines PR residency, just before his three-day visit to Singapore.

Prayer Needs:
    • For Stella’s 91-year-old mother’s salvation and that she will always recognise her helper and for the helper to take care of her well.

7. Amos Ang – Serving with Cru Asia

Prayer Needs:
    • Wisdom and strength to carry out his roles and responsibilities locally.

    • Discernment for staff care and development for other teams he is overseeing.

    • His son, Josiah, as he continues his one more year of National Service (NS) and God’s favour for a place in university after NS.

    • Another son, Nathan, for God’s leading in his adulting journey, especially his spiritual life.

8. Karen Hor – Serving with Cru Asia

Prayer Needs:
    • She has taken on an additional responsibility in Volunteer Management; pray for creativity, insight and energy as she organises activities that strengthen the identity and bond among volunteers.

    • The Lord to lead and guide her son, Josiah, as he applies to study HR Management at SUSS after he completes NS; pray the Lord to make straight his path.

9. Susan Lee – Serving with Cru Asia

Prayer Needs:
    • Thankful that He sustained them and The Creative Journey (TCJ) project wrapped up nicely.

    • The Creative Team to be sensitive to God’s leading in consolidating next year’s plan.

    • God to grant Susan and her family, wisdom in taking care of their health and grow in their faith in God. 

10. Chelsea Koh – Serving with Prison Fellowship Singapore (PFS)

Thanksgiving:
    • Baptism of E in October.

Prayer Needs:
    • Successful reintegration of The Helping Hand releasees to their families.

    • Healing and restoration of health for several colleagues who are unwell.

11. Jason Huang (TTC)

Prayer Needs:
    • His full recovery from loss of voice and swollen throat.

    • As the semester is ending and assignment deadlines are coming up, pray for God's wisdom and grace to complete them all with perseverance.

    • For his son, Reuben, as he transits to Primary 1, in January 2026. 

12. Angeline Lee (SBC)

Thanksgiving
  • For a fruitful semester break and time spent with family and friends.

Prayer Needs:
    • God’s guidance and a smooth transition into the new school term.

    • Wisdom, discipline and strength to balance studies, family commitments and perseverance in studying God’s Word.

    • God’s provision, protection, and overall well-being for the family. 

13. Jonathan & Phoebe Kong – Serving with OMF

Prayer Needs:
    • For the local believers, that they will have courage and commitment to share the Gospel with those around them and to be witnesses in their community.

    • For the spiritual atmosphere in the village of Takhro, that the people will be open to receive Jesus Christ into their hearts.

    • Wisdom and strength for Jonathan and Phoebe as they minister in the village in partnership with the church.

    • For the children they minister to every weekend, that they can sow the seeds of the Gospel into their hearts.

14. Shan – Serving in CAN

Prayer Needs:
    • Thankful for the continual blessing of good health.

    • Wisdom and strength for (Man of Peace) MOP to seek the lost and find those who need to come back to the fold. The children and youth there will continue to grow spiritually and their lives to be transformed by His words.

    • Wisdom and strength for house parents to minister to the youth at VHM and for the youth to open up to share life, grow in confidence and trust in God.

    • Safety, good health and protection for her and family.

15. Stanley and Lucy Ong

Thanksgiving:
    • A good rest during winter vacation.

    • Koko's continued recovery from leukemia.

Prayer Needs:
    • Koko to be in remission from her leukemia and for body to build resistance to infection.

    • The salvation of Koko and her mother, sister and brother.

    • Ms H to seek the Lord and come to faith.

    • The local church that the Ongs attend, to be renewed in its sense of mission to the local community.

16. Yvonne Choo - Serving with The Evangelical Alliance Mission

  • Christmas is a time of festivities but also a time where international students might miss home. There will be many international student outreach events and gatherings. Pray that the story of Christ may touch hearts and change lives.

  • Yvonne will be speaking in a number of events. One of which is an opportunity to conduct a workshop in a law class about the trial of Jesus from the perspective of Japan’s constitutional law. Pray that this will spark conversations and interest.

  • For Yvonne to find time in this busy period to rest after a series of major events.

17. More Wesley's Missionaries to be raised and sent out into the field

Luke 10:2 The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Prayer Needs:
    • God's spirit to stir up the hearts of Wesleyans to be missional and obedient to the Great Commission.

    • More Wesleyans will hear His clarion call to be missionaries in the harvest fields overseas.

    • Wisdom, grace, and clarity as they discern their calling and choose to bring the gospel to the least-reached people groups or hard places.

    • That God will grant them the assurance of peace to remove their fears, anxieties and concerns for their loved ones as He equips them for the field.

    • Boldness and courage to take the next step to prepare well for the ministry which they are called in the harvest fields.

    • God's leading and wisdom to mobilise a great missionary movement from Wesley to reach the least, the lost and the last.

Field Development:

Cambodia

18. Functional English Centre (FEC)

Thanksgiving:
    • A good number of students in three sessions (morning, afternoon and evening) including children, youth and young adults.

    • Youth fellowship on Sunday evenings has reached out to more youth in recent months.

    • A new teacher has recently been assigned to the centre.

Prayer Needs:
    • God’s protection, strength and guidance for the staff and families.

    • The students to learn well and be receptive to God’s love and truth, especially through Friday sessions and fellowship.

    • Youth and children attending the fellowship to receive God’s love and grow in their faith.

    • Pastor A has relocated to a suburban location. May God strengthen his relationship with the community and for opportunities to reach out with God’s love and truth.

    • More teachers/short-term worker to be assigned, as the current teaching staff has a full teaching schedule.

19. Pathway Fellowship in Siem Reap

Thanksgiving:
    • A growing children’s ministry in churches and preaching points; pray for support for ministry team as they seek to serve in this area. 

    • Recent medical and youth ministry encouraged the ministry to reach out to the community.

Prayer Needs:
    • The Lord to continue growing the ministry and strengthening those who have opened their hearts and minds to Him.

    • The ministry team as they follow-up with people who have responded to the Lord

    • Good follow-up and spiritual growth of children who came to know Christ during village outreach.

    • Wisdom and strength for the teachers at Mustard Seed School (MSS).

    • God’s guidance and provision as MSS and the church that worships there need to relocate to a new place.

    • God’s provision, leading and continued open doors in medical ministry and youth ministry.

20. Deaf Missions, Phnom Penh

Thanksgiving:
    • Good partnership with Cambodian organisations for the deaf, youth and other churches for the past few years.

    • Opportunity to reach out to the deaf community and increase deaf awareness in Cambodia.

Prayer Needs:

    • Wisdom among the Deaf Ministry leaders in missions outreach strategies for the deaf and non-deaf community in Cambodia.

    • Workshop conducted for the deaf to be effective in equipping them with the relevant skills and impart godly values.

    • Deaf awareness events to increase support for the marginalised deaf community.

    • More Wesleyans to step up in supporting Deaf Ministry missions outreach.

Indonesia

21. Batam & Bintan

Thanksgiving:
    • Students who joined the English teaching ministry progressed well in learning the language.

    • Closer relationship with the students and teachers and opportunity to share God’s love and godly values.

    • Women who joined the sewing ministry have gradually improved their sewing skills.

    • Recent trips have encouraged the pastors, leaders and teachers.

Prayer Needs:
    • Sustaining strength and wisdom for teachers to plan lessons and engage students effectively.

    • Students to learn effectively, diligent in their students, and nurtured in godly values and develop godly character.

    • Protection, good health, wisdom and anointing for pastors and leaders in providing leadership and care for the church.

    • Congregation to grow in their faith, love and service for God.
    • Diligence for those who participated in a sewing workshop to develop their skills.

    • Wisdom in planning missions trip to Batam and Bintan and more to step up to serve God as leaders, translators and core-team members.

22. Medan

Thanksgiving:
    • Children and youth are receptive to God's love and truth.

    • Scholarship students are progressing well in their studies and developing godly character. Some are serving in the ministry.

    • Some youth received Christ and rededicated their lives during the Youth Camp in July.

Prayer Needs:
    • Leaders and ministry workers to be used by God to bless the children and youth.

    • Students receiving scholarships to continue in doing well for their studies.

    • Good follow-up and nurturing of faith for seekers, new believers and believers, including those who have come to faith through the recent youth camp.

    • Youth leaders to arise from within and outside of the ministry.

    • Parents and adult fellowship to be fruitful in reaching out to the community and nurturing their faith in God.

    • Missions partner to continue in the spirit of serving God with love and humility. Protection, good health and providence for their families.

23. Laos

  • Wisdom upon the nation’s leaders to find ways to cope with the financial crisis and help the poor who are struggling with inflation and the high cost of living.

  • Protection, courage and good health for God’s people especially those living in rural areas.

  • Wisdom, sustaining strength, favour and perseverance for God’s workers serving the least, the lost and the last.

  • Open hearts and responsiveness to the good news by the locals.

Philippines

24. Payatas Churches

  • Wisdom for church and community leaders in selecting the right livelihood projects for various local villages.

  • For New Hope Antioch Church’s prison ministry to transform lives; good health and strength for Pastor Val.

  • Thank God for new believers in Pinagpala Christian Community Church’s outreach points; for more pre-believing families to be reached and more church members to serve as the ministry expands.

  • A safe and suitable venue for Promised Land Christian Church’s new outreach point as the current location floods often; for God’s provision for various church ministry needs.

  • Thank God for regular attendance of youth and adult members at Jesus The Mediator Church; pray for spiritual healing and good family relationships for church members and a job opening for AB.

  • Outreach points at Parawangan and Montalban to be fruitful and effective.

  • Healing for Pastor V to walk again and willingness to undergo cataract surgery.

  • All members grow in their commitment and hunger to seek God.

25. High Praise Church (HPC)

Thanksgiving:
    • United church having the same purpose of winning more souls for His Kingdom.

    • God’s continued wisdom, protection, guidance and provision for HPC pastors and leaders.

Prayer Needs:
    • Weekly Zoom course to equip pastors and leaders in theology; trainees to cope with both day jobs and night classes.

    • God to provide resources needed to run the course for different batches of trainees.

    • Perseverance and wisdom for Pastor R as he nurtures, mentors and trains the next generation of pastors and leaders.

    • Zealousness for pastors and leaders in preaching assignments and overseeing Care Groups in various outreach locations.

    • God’s leading as the church in St Maria embarks on implementing livelihood project for the members. 

Thailand

26. Nong Bua Lamphu

    • God to continue to minister to the youths to receive His truths and promises and grow in their faith.

    • Ongoing online English lessons led by Wesley volunteers to continue to serve needs of NBLPMC members and their invited friends.

    • Friendships built at Nongsan to be strengthened and for the people there to come to know Christ personally.

    • Strength and wisdom for Pastor K to juggle multiple roles and lead the church. Praise the Lord that she has given birth to a healthy baby.

    • Discipline and discernment for youths when it comes to using their digital devices.

    • Healing for members of the congregation who are ill and struggling with family issues.

27. Phrao

Thanksgiving:
    • Recent trips have been fruitful in reaching out to youth, women, children and teachers.

    • Some youth and children responded to God’s love during prayer time in LK and during youth camp.

Prayer Needs:
    • Youth who have responded to be nurtured in their faith and love for God.

    • Children at the outreach centre at LK to know God deeper.

    • Outreach at KP and MS villages to bear fruit for God; more children to join the activities.

    • God’s provision for a full-time worker at LK and a more convenient location to run the programme.

    • For God to touch the lives of families with children and the elderly who are ill and homebound as the church reaches out to them.

    • Good health and protection for Pastor D and his family, Pastor S and all workers.

28. Timor Leste

  • Health and joy for the missionaries, teachers, staff and students in Timor-Leste.

  • Missionaries, staff, students and Methodist Missions Society (MMS) to have a united heart, with one another and aligned with God.

  • God-given wisdom for the above to catch His vision and use their different talents and personalities that God has given them to serve Him and fulfil His purposes.

  • God to continue expanding his Kingdom work and providing all the manpower and resources needed.

29. Wesley Youths in Missions

  • For God to nurture a heart for missions amongst our youths, and raise a generation of missions-minded youths in Wesley YM with a desire to serve Him.

  • For God to lead our youths and youth leaders as we seek to learn more about missions.

  • For God to bring more youth mission trip leaders and trippers to serve Him in the mission fields as YM starts to ramp up missions activities.

  • Wisdom and love for youth missions leaders as they connect with various missions fields.

  • For our upcoming youth mission trips to be God-led and for our youth trippers to be good witnesses for God.
