C’s mother has Stage 3 ovarian cancer. Tumour has been increasing in size steadily despite five cycles of chemotherapy. Pray for:

G started her first job three weeks ago, following one year of treatment and recovery from brain cancer. Pray for:

Pray for A who is experiencing severe back ache of late. To remain focused on the Lord’s healing and to get her flu symptoms treated.

Z had a brain bleed. Surgery done but she remains in coma. Thanksgiving more subtle movements noted of late. Pray for:

Growth found in RN’s uterus. Biopsy done. Pray for:
God’s intervention as an effective treatment plan is designed for her.
Good healing with faith and trust to see God’s work done.
E was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in April with spread to her lymph node and her bones. Begun bone treatment with targeted
therapy. Pray for:
Rested dependence on the Lord for peace, mercy and miraculous healing from God.
Boldness and confidence to rise as she hopes to return to the workforce.
Bone to be strengthened with this treatment.
Thanksgiving for support she has received from the Cancer support group.
K’s breast cancer has spread to her lungs. Her left lung has collapsed. Fluid has been drained out of her right lung. Pray for:
The Lord to help her breathe as she rests in His merciful hands and into His peace.
Pre-believing loved ones to meet Christ and receive salvation.
Her father, Mr Sim to be freed from migraines and to open his heart to God.
CG’s (mother with two young children) cancer markers are stable as she continues with treatments. Pray for:
Victory over peritoneal cancer.
Strengthened to care for her family and young ones.

Prayer Needs:
Wisdom, strength and guidance for Theng Huat to fulfil his teaching, preaching, mentoring and administrative responsibilities.
God to guide Theng Huat to know how best to bless the church and college with his ideas, proposals and contribution.
God to bless Theng Huat's parents and parents-in-law with good health, safety, joy and peace.
God to guide Cheng Ping (Theng Huat's wife) and their children in their work and studies.
2. Tan Chew Suan – Serving with Singapore Youth for Christ
Thanksgiving:
For the P6s who have signed up for the "Ready, Sec, Go" programme. Pray for a fruitful time in encouraging them in their Christian faith and walk.
Prayer Needs:
God's insight as she prepares a session on Numbers to teach their younger female staff and that God's word will transform their lives.
For a good time of catching up with her nephew's family as she goes to visit them in Japan.
3. Asholi and Puii Akamu – Serving in Thailand
Prayer Needs:
For growth in the knowledge of God’s Word for a whole village of people who have recently turned to Christ.
Smooth running of Vacational Bible School in a village with CCMC from Singapore on first week December; for hearts to be ministered.
God to move mightily in an evangelical campaign / meeting in one of the non-christian villages outside C during the Christmas season.
Continue to pray for complete recovery for Asholi and for good self-care.
4. Couple – CN
Prayer Needs:
Wisdom and discernment as C leads the team to work on the development of a church planting app to track the growth and health of churches.
For N, as she co-facilitates the online Basic Leadership Training (BLT) course for East Asia (6-27 Nov).
Their ministry trip to Taiwan (4-20 Nov) where they will be teaching on World Religions and Business As Missions (BAM) as part of a five-month full-time residential missions discipleship training programme.
A good balance of their multiple ministry commitments and rest.
God’s protection over their parents’ health and especially for her father to soften his heart, repent and turn back to Christ.
5. Joel Choong – Serving with Singapore Youth for Christ
Thanksgiving:
For the opportunity to participate in the Singapore Art Book Fair again; a blessing to be chosen among the applicants.
Prayer Needs:
For good connections to be made during and after the book fair.
Strength and focus during this peak period of work.
Family health: His spouse, Clarice’s dad has just undergone a stent procedure; her mum has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and will be starting treatment soon.
6. Stella and Phil Carter – Serving with Cru Asia
Prayer Needs:
For Stella's eye appointment on 18 Nov to discuss cataract surgery.
God’s protection and good health for Phil’s 74-year-old brother who was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer and skin cancer. His recent final immuno-therapy treatment went well.
Salvation for her 90-year-old mother, for her short-term memory loss to slow down and also thankful her dementia has stabilised. May she continue to get along well with her helper and for helper to take good care of her.
7. Mark Suredhran – Serving with Cru Singapore
Thanksgiving for:
For strength to serve Him each day as the joy of the Lord is our strength.
For the Creative team's efforts to reach out to creatives and plan for next year.
Prayer Needs:
Continued favour from the Lord in ministry and in mission.
For Mark as he leads the Creative planning retreat's "dream" time, crafting together the direction where the Lord is leading them.
Stability of health.
8. Amos Ang – Serving with Cru Asia
Prayer Needs:
That his dad’s appetite will improve as he would rather drink milk than eat solid food.
His youngest son’s safety and personal and spiritual growth as he just started his NS.
His eldest son to have a fruitful rest till year end before he starts work in January.
For Amos and his spouse, Karen to have good health and wisdom for their ministry responsibilities.
9. Karen Hor – Serving with Cru Asia
Prayer Needs:
For God to handpick six couples for the March 2025 Marriage Preparation Course. Three couples have registered but two couples are currently unchurched. Pray they will embrace the biblical teachings behind all the marital concepts while recognising their own need for a Christian community.
For Karen and her spouse, Amos’ missions trip to Laos at end-October; pray they will be able to find and encourage a few faithful ones who will have the fire to plant seeds for Christ in their workplaces.
That Nathan, her older son who hopes to start work in January 2025, will be able to secure the job that he wants.
Her younger son is in Officer Cadet School (OCS) now and thankful for this privileged opportunity for him to grow in his leadership and personal mastery journey; pray for continued safety, increase in confidence and ability to apply himself in every situation and for consistent prayer time with the Lord.
Continued health and protection for her parents and older brother (who has had two strokes prior) in their coming in and going out.
10. Joyce Ho – Serving with Cru Asia
Thanksgiving:
That 17 ladies completed their Thursday morning run of The significant Woman life coaching course. Pray they will continually seek to live out their God-given personal mission statement.
Prayer Needs:
Full recovery from recent bout of asthma attack.
For the team of four ladies plus Joyce who will be going for a missions trip to Matzu Island, Taiwan from Dec 19-26. A team went there last year so this time it is to renew fellowship and ministry ties from last year. As this is during the Christmas season, the outreach will be Christmas themed. Pray for fine weather, good health and good team work. For creative ideas to share the Christmas story, for open hearts to hear the Gospel story. Pray that God will break strongholds of traditional gods over the island and for residents hearts to seek and know the True God.
11. Susan Lee – Serving with Cru Asia
Thanksgiving:
For the three mentors who have agreed to be part of their Mentoring Programme.
For a team of six which has been formed for the Okinawa Mission Trip.
Prayer Needs:
Wisdom and strength to continue the preparation for the Creative team's Mentoring Programme and the Okinawa Mission Trip.
12. Chelsea Koh – Serving with Prison Fellowship Singapore (PFS)
Thanksgiving:
For the faithful support from their Family Care Ministry (FCM) volunteers; pray they will be encouraged in their service in the Volunteers Thanksgiving event on 23 Nov.
Prayer Needs:
For the Angel Tree Project; that the inmates’ letters to their families would lead to family reconciliation; for God's covering over all operational processes.
Successful assignment of volunteers to the beneficiaries and for a breakthrough in the engagement with A, a beneficiary in FCM.
Healing for Chelsea from the pain on her heels.
13. Jason Huang (TTC)
Prayer Needs:
For his spiritual growth and formation.
God’s grace to help him clear all upcoming assignments on time.

Health and protection for their families in Singapore.

For their ministry to be incarnational among the people in Takhro and for opportunities to share the Gospel during visitations and daily life.
For Aunty Dtaan who just accepted Christ; pray that God will lead her in His ways and show Himself to her. Pray that they can visit her to continue to disciple her in the days to come.
Strength from God as November and December will be busy with camps and Christmas programmes.
16. Shan – Serving in CAN
Thanksgiving for:
For increase in student's enrolment; pray for provision for more teachers with suitable qualifications and teaching experience to nurture all students; for unity and good working relationships among all teachers and support staff.
For more students being recruited into the hostel; pray for wisdom and strength for the house parents to disciple these students and more opportunities for them to reach their friends.
Prayer Needs:
Preparation of the upcoming blessing project, for ground be softened, more seeds to be sown and more opportunities to bless the communities; for open doors and receptivity among the village community.
For the children at the Centre to experience God's love through the various programmes organised for them; that they will draw closer to one another, build trusting relationships and grow together.
God's favour and guidance for the worker to expand the work to the least, the lost and the last; for God's grace, providence and protection for the family back home.
17. Stanley and Lucy Ong
Thanksgiving for:
For the Lord's blessings of good health and energy to serve in the month of October.

Protection from colds and other infections as the weather turns cold in November.

18. More Wesley's Missionaries to be raised and sent out into the field
Luke 10:2 The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Prayer Needs:
God's spirit to stir up the hearts of Wesleyans to be missional and obedient to the Great Commission.
More Wesleyans will hear His clarion call to be missionaries in the harvest fields overseas.
Wisdom, grace, and clarity as they discern their calling and choose to bring the gospel to the least-reached people groups or hard places.
That God will grant them the assurance of peace to remove their fears, anxieties and concerns for their loved ones as He equips them for the field.
Boldness and courage to take the next step to prepare well for the ministry which they are called in the harvest fields.
God's leading and wisdom to mobilise a great missionary movement from Wesley to reach the least, the lost and the last.

Cambodia
19. Functional English Centre (FEC) in Siem Reap
God’s wisdom and grace to navigate changes from the relocation of students and the rebuilding of homes.
Praise God for sending new students even though relocation of the villages has started.
God’s leading in preparations for a pilot school in a new area where many of the students have relocated.
The Lord’s presence and Spirit to move among the surrounding villages; open doors for friendships with neighbours and parents.
Protection against spiritual attack of school and staff.
Good health and strength for all the teachers in FEC as they continue to disciple the youth.
20. Pathway Fellowship in Siem Reap
Pray for the Lord to continue growing the ministry and strengthening those who have opened their hearts and minds to Him; pray for the Pathway team as they follow up with people who have responded to the Lord.
Thank God for a growing children’s ministry in the churches and preaching points. Pray for support for the ministry team as they seek to serve in this area.
For good follow-up and spiritual growth of the children who came to know Christ during village outreach.
Wisdom and strength for the teachers at Mustard Seed School (MSS).
God’s guidance and provision as MSS and the church that worships there need to relocate to a new place.

For former hostel students who have gone on to university to do well in their higher education. Praise the Lord for some who continued engaging the church community; pray for more to do so.
The Lord’s empowerment upon the house parents and their work at WPPH.
For the Lord to guide the curriculum preparation and recruitment of new teachers for the English Corner Programme.
Pray for God's empowerment upon the pastors to sow seeds and for more students to open their hearts to receive Jesus into their lives. May the youths who have received Him grow deeper in their faith and relationship with God.
God's protection over the hostel students in their health, well being and good relationship with their family and friends.
Indonesia
22. Batam & Bintan
Sustaining strength and wisdom for teachers to plan for the lessons and engage the students effectively. The students to learn effectively and to be diligent in their studies.
Pray for the students to be nurtured in godly values and to develop godly character.
Protection and good health for the pastors and leaders of GPI churches; wisdom and anointing to provide leadership and pastoral care.
More opportunities to reach out to the community through visitations.
Steadfastness for the congregation in their faith and spiritual growth.
Diligence for those who participated in a sewing workshop in developing their skills.

For older children and young adults to be safe from the political situation in the country and its impact.

For friendships built at Nongsan to be strengthened and for the people there to come to know Christ personally.
Strength and wisdom for Pastor K to juggle multiple roles and lead the church.

For more labourers to join our missions partner; recruitment has been slow over the past few months as travel restrictions ease & tourism related business are on a hiring spree.
For the children residing at the two centres to experience the love of Christ and be renewed in hope of a better future; for those baptised recently to grow in Christ and to always fix their eyes on Jesus in all circumstances.
For our partner’s Thai staff team to have strength and be pointed to God.
35. Timor Leste
For volunteers who are willing to serve 1-2 years as house parents in Sundermeier Home and Dunamis House, and to mentor home-grown leaders to take over the role of house parents.
For organisations and individuals with business or entrepreneurship expertise to come alongside and mentor Timorese in basic business skills.
The missionaries, teachers and staff to be empowered to nurture this generation of youth to be a light and blessing to their community and the nations beyond.
Thank God for the completion of three key buildings in the SPMS Development Project in January that can now be used by 795 students in the new school term. Pray for the remaining construction of the admin block and two hostel blocks to be completed soon.
36. Wesley Youths in Missions
For God to nurture a heart for missions amongst our youths, and raise a generation of missions-minded youths in Wesley YM with a desire to serve Him.
For God to lead our youths and youth leaders as we seek to learn more about missions.
For God to bring more youth mission trip leaders and trippers to serve Him in the mission fields as YM starts to ramp up missions activities.
