Overall Description of Role:

The primary role of the AV Assistant Manager at Wesley MC is to oversee and manage the AV Department and AV needs of the church, ensuring the smooth operation of all AV-related activities in the church in collaboration with its ministries, including audio, video, lighting, and AV-related IT support.

The AV Manager will directly support church events and also supervise AV staff and volunteers as assigned, manage relationships with vendors, and ensure the design, installation, maintenance and improvement of AV systems and equipment.

The Facilities Assistant Manager reports to Facilities Manager. Focuses on execution of plans and assisting the Manager in planning and strategy. And is responsible for assigned manpower.

This person will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the logistics set up for events, programmes and activities are properly arranged. In addition, this person is expected to provide leadership in administrative and logistics support to Wesley’s facilities management for our activities and programmes.

This person is responsible in representing the pastors’ office by being a pastoral presence and providing leadership in Family Life Ministry, which comprises of Marriage Preparation Class, Marriage Enrichment, Marriage Mentoring, Faith Driven Parenting, Cradle Roll, and Church Camp.

In addition, this person is expected to work together with other ministries within Wesley that work in tandem with FLM.

This person is responsible for responding, co-ordinating, providing pastoral care and follow-up on bereavement matter with urgency and visiting and conducting of wake/funeral services and interment of ashes/ash scattering.

This person is expected to response, provide pastoral visit and follow-up on those who are sick, in hospitals/nursing homes and are homebound and collaborate with Wesley Glowing Years Ministry activities.

Ministry Team Members are expected to work with the Pastor and Chairperson of the ministry to lead and grow SGM and its Small Groups.  Shepherd the Small Group leaders and Pastoral Care Zone Leadership, work with volunteers in the planning and implementation projects and events in line with the Church’s plans and directions.

Being part of the ministry team, you will be working closely with the overseeing Pastor to steer, direct, grow and develop the Youth Ministry and see Youths transformed. Key administrative and ministerial responsibilities include, but not limited to, providing theologically sound biblical teaching primarily to youths up to tertiary, leading small and large group sessions, and coordinating virtual and in-person events.

The Youth Ministry Programme Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, coordinating, and logistical support in all activities related to the youth service, youth small groups, and its related sub-ministries (teams for worship, hospitality, creative arts, service managers, games and events, communications and missions committee).
